What You Can Do:

Consumers are urged to stop using these products right away. Consumers should also contact Siemens to schedule the installation of a free replacement sensor if they believe that their building may be using one of these devices at (800) 516-9964 or http://w3.usa.siemens.com/buildingtechnologies .

Although Siemens is trying to contact all the purchasers of these defective sensors individually, it is still a good idea for consumers to double check that these devices aren’t being used in their vicinity. If you are unsure whether your local school, hospital, or workplace uses one of these devices contact the building’s management or facility manager and make an inquiry.
