Fighting the Big Companies to Get Justice
A fierce competitor, Darren began his legal career working with a prominent attorney who fought major corporations, such as auto and assembly line machinery manufacturers. Darren witnessed how one good lawyer could go up against the big companies to get justice for ordinary people who were seriously injured. Darren then knew what he wanted to do.
Known for his success with both personal injury and criminal cases, Darren cited a recent injury matter. “A woman’s surgeon accidentally cut the nerves to her vocal cords during an operation. The doctor’s mistake resulted in a permanent tracheotomy, breathing difficulty, speaking problems, and pain. We were able to achieve a very substantial settlement so my client would have the resources to take care of herself for the rest of her life,” Darren recalls.
Criminal Law Attorney
Darren also has extensive experience in criminal law and litigation. His first legal assignment in New York was as an Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx. Today, Darren defends the accused in a range of criminal cases, including felonies, misdemeanors, and DWIs. Darren recollects a case that involved a man charged and arrested for rape in the first degree. “Through a comprehensive investigation, I was able to prove that my client did not commit the rape and the woman who had made the allegations admitted that she had lied to the police. The prosecutor dismissed all charges.”
Darren’s successes often make the news. A recent high profile case resulted in a nationally televised interview with Greta Van Susteren as well as newspaper and magazine articles. As a client of Darren Epstein, you will have a lawyer driven to win.
